Location: Norwood, MA Budget: $43,000 Style: Modern / Minimalist

This project focused on unlocking the hidden potential of the home by converting an unfinished, cluttered storage attic into a pristine, modern workspace. The transformation required extensive structural reframing to optimize the roofline and increase usable headroom. Our team managed the complete building envelope upgrade, including high-performance insulation and a new HVAC zone to ensure the office remains comfortable in all seasons. The design prioritizes natural light, turning a once-dark area into an airy, productive environment with clean lines and architectural details.

Key Features & Materials:

  • Light & Views: Installation of new skylights and high-efficiency architectural windows by Pella, flooding the space with daylight and creating a sense of openness.

  • Flooring: Installation of Premium Engineered Wood flooring in a rich, warm tone to contrast with the bright white walls.

  • Custom Carpentry: Features precise finish carpentry, including custom built-in benches that utilize the knee-wall space efficiently for seating and storage.

  • Systems: Comprehensive electrical and HVAC updates for a fully functional independent office zone.
