This project involved the complete removal of an aging, painted wooden structure and its replacement with a premium, architectural-grade deck system designed to withstand the New England elements. Our team managed the demolition of the existing multi-level staircase and rebuilt the structure from the ground up, focusing on structural integrity and refined aesthetics. The centerpiece of this renovation is the use of Ipe (Brazilian Walnut), widely considered one of the finest decking materials in the world due to its incredible density and resistance to rot. The project required expert craftsmanship and precision joinery to handle this "Ironwood," resulting in a sleek, modern outdoor extension that perfectly complements the home's exterior.
