Sculptor’s Studio Addition – Design & Build

Location: Waban, MA (Stanley Rd) Budget: $265,000

This design-build project involved the complete development of a new addition serving as a dedicated sculptor's studio. Baybuilders managed the entire lifecycle of the project, starting with pre-construction planning, architectural development, and permitting ("Paper Works").

We executed the full construction of the new structure, including framing, roofing, and siding installation. To ensure a stable and comfortable environment for artwork, we utilized high-performance spray foam insulation and installed a modern HVAC system with heat pump mini-splits. The interior features professional dryway and plaster finishing, fresh paint, and durable hardwood flooring.

Key Features & Materials:

• Windows: Pella windows installed to provide optimal natural light for the studio.

• Insulation: High-efficiency spray foam insulation for superior climate control.

• Systems: New water heating system and HVAC mini-splits.

• Fixtures: Plumbing fixtures sourced from Ferguson Supply.
